Beverly Primary Bathroom and Laundry Room Renovation

This renovation project in Beverly, MA, was a transformation of three key spaces: a primary bathroom, laundry room, and small powder room. Our clients, a dynamic young couple with a love for unique, eclectic design, envisioned a space that blended French cottage charm with a hipster mid-century vibe. The renovation involved gutting and reimagining the existing bathroom to fulfill their desire for a more functional and stylish laundry and bathroom setup.

The original bathroom was reconfigured to create a cozy laundry room nook with a much needed storage closet and open shelving, while the small adjacent bedroom was transformed into a spacious master bathroom. The design concept featured a balance of cottage-inspired elements, such as juxtaposing cottage-style wall paneling and vintage inspired wallpapers, with sleek mid-century modern touches, including custom brass and milk glass light fixtures.

We worked with a local finish carpenter out of Ipswich to craft a custom vanity, paired with a beautiful marble vanity top, tub deck, and shower trim components, to create a harmonious and timeless look. Our clients requested the addition of soft, pastel hues, so we incorporated sage green and desert pink accents in subtle ways throughout the design. The shower floor and niche were accented with pink-hued oatmeal-colored grout, which complements the elegant penny tile and adds a subtle yet striking touch to the space. Green was brought in through thoughtfully chosen artwork and accessories, giving the rooms a lively yet serene ambiance.

This renovation seamlessly blended the charm of French cottage style with the clean lines and sophistication of mid-century modern design, creating a space that is both functional and visually captivating.
